Jan Koller attracting Premiership interest

Jan KollerCzech Republic striker Jan Koller is said to be attracting the interest of three Premiership clubs.

The striker is currently playing for Monaco and is considering his future at the club after it’s unlikely the giant forward will be first choice at the Stade Louis this season.

This news is said to have alerted Birmingham, Middlesbrough and Reading who are all reported to be considering making an offer for the 34-year-old.

The Reading left-back is a life-long Hammers fan and Alan Curbishley is said to be ready to make a £5million bid.

Reading want River Plate defender

Reading - Steve CoppellReading are keen on signing River Plate defender Danilo Gerlo, according to the Argentine club.

The Royals lost 1-0 to River last week in the Peace Cup in South Korea and the central defender is keen on a move to the Premiership with Reading.

Gerlo did enough in the match between the two clubs to impress Steve Coppell enough for chairman John Madeski to make an approach.
